From winemaker Dave Mackintosh comes this top notch Grigio from the Yarra. Dave tells us he deliberately named it Grigio over Gris, for its moreish, dry palate and mouth-watering acidity. Think green pears, fennel fronds, red apple skin and a touch of cinnamon toast. Superb!

Benanti offers a great introduction to some of the beautiful wines from Mount Etna, showing to promise of important indigenous grapes such as Nerello Mascalese and Nerello Cappuccio.
Nerello Mascalese and Nerello Cappuccio are at home at the high altitude of the Etna volcano and gives wines that are fragrant and mineral-driven. Rose petal and light berry aromas blur and soften the lines of those pretty mineral notes that are so strong at the beginning. The juicy palate evokes red … more
A stand out example of pure Tempranillo organically grown in Spain's Rioja.
Soft and mineral, a delicious mix of red and dark fruit. Open and expressive, with nutty tannins and a lick of spicy acidity, it's clearly Rioja and perfectly varietal Tempranillo. Matured in tank so the wines stays fresh and vibrant and allows the the fruit characters to fully shine through.
40 year old vines are grown in Oimbra on a mix of sand, schist and silty-clay soils. The Godello is de-stemmed, cold macerated for a few hours and fermented cool and quiet in stainless steel. A lively golden yellow and nice and bright in the glass, Minius smells clearly of Monterrei's granitic sand soils and the golden orchard fruits one expects from Godello. There are hints of fennel, citrus and subtle florals too, and the palate is a beautifully balanced … more
An Aussie take on an Italian classic, this cracking Trebbiano offers up boatloads green apple, lime zest and fragrant chamomile scents. It's velvet smooth on the palate, with a beautiful lingering citrus pith finish. Swap out your usual Pinot Grigio or Riesling and give this one a try.

80% Catarratto, 20% Chardonnay. Organic. Vegan Friendly.
From the southwestern part of Sicily, bpuntio have crafted a medium weight white. Deep golden in colour with green glints. Notes of citrus fruits and flower blossom. The palate is moderately structured, having seen a bot over 6 months on lees, but displays fresh acidity and a pleasant fruity aftertaste.
A delicious alternative to alcoholic gin, Diamonds blend is zesty and floral. Leading with notes of native desert lime, finger lime, mandarin and lemon, it is perfectly balanced by savoury sage, juniper and angelica root. Best enjoyed with tonic to release the layers of citrus and floral aromas, and also acts as a strong base for a range of fresh cocktails. With garnishes, get creative with sage, or a wheel of fresh lemon and lime.
Vernaccia is grown widely in Italy, but the best comes from San Gimignano in Tuscany. Crunchy, fresh with lively acidity this is a wonderful refreshing starter, but equally works well with a variety of lighter dishes. Not only is it great drinking, at this price it is a real steal. … more

New-school cool meets old school sensibilities, Chalari can do it all. They focus on classic varieties but made with a fresh eye. Their Shiraz Tempranillo from the Great Southern Western Australia reminds us of a great Rioja, with luscious spice from oak ageing, wrapped around dense forest berry and charred red pepper, a generous finish for a terrific price.

"Surely the most under-priced champagne on the market today, yet one of the most complex. The 60/25/15% pinot noir/chardonnay/pinot meunier blend is of scant importance compared with the 400 components with 60% reserves, the oldest 8+ years old. Majestically complex and layered in a jewelled crown of freshness. 96 points" - James Halliday's Top 100 2020
2018 base, disgorged May 2022. This dazzling Pinot Meunier represents superb value in a market where rosé wines are getting more and more pricey. It's a blend of Meunier vinified three ways. Firstly, 60% of the volume is from fruit pressed off in the traditional way to make a white wine (over one-third of this component was reserve wines that had been aged in barrels). Secondly, 30% was made as a saignée rosé (the juice left in contact with the … more

Aurélien Laherte ferments the wines in a mix of foudres, tanks and barrels, with regular stirring of the lees.
