"Marking the 20th anniversary of this white wine, the 2021 Nelin was produced with Garnacha Blanca, Macabeo, Xarel.lo and Picapoll white and Cariñena Blanca - in the future, there will be more and more of the last two varieties in the blend, a big change from the beginning. Produced with the juice from the direct pressing, the wine spent one year in oak and six months in tank. It's balsamic, eminently Mediterranean and ripe, with 14% alcohol (a little lower … more

The vineyard is a 20Ha amphitheater of crumbling slate. The vines are at 350 metres and are surrounded by mountains up to 1,200 metres high and the vineyard's lower extremes are adjacent to the Siurana River.
"The eponymous red 2021 Clos Mogador fermented with some 30% full clusters trying to give it more freshness (but without noticing the stems) with a long maceration (40 to 50 days) and (almost) no punching down, with less extraction. There's been a progressive change … more

Producer's note - "Quite restrained on the nose and less tropical than previous vintages. It unfurls in the glass to reveal profound and attractive notes of citrus, lime leaf, apricot and orange blossom. The palate shows mouthwatering intensity, with subtle-but-juicy passionfruit notes melding with those of citrus, white stone fruit, makrut lime, pink peppercorn, hibiscus and pink grapefruit. Throughout, there is a freshening saline edge and a fresh-squeezed lemon acidity that carries a long, concentrated and complex finish."

Producers Notes - "Historically Clover Hill has followed a traditional pathway of vintage and non-vintage Methode Traditionnelle sparkling wines. But are forging a new path. We believe the most critical elements of sparkling wine are distinctive styles, consistently produced which enables consumers to develop a deep understanding and trust in our brand. Cocchi Rosa name reminds us that it’s produced with red wines, from which it derives its colour and wild rose notes. Refined with natural extracts of flowers and spices, in particular gentian, cinchona and citrus as per the Americano Bianco but with the addition of saffron, vanilla and rose petals. Its beautiful red colour is completely natural and derives from the wine.

Hailing from Sicily, this is fresh and aromatic, with green pear and citrus on the nose with subtle herbal characters - think sage and mint. apricot, melon and even some white and yellow peach with a crisp finish.
It yodels "Summer!" with it's balance of ripe, almost tropical fruit and the zingy acidity.

"Decisive, intense and full of character. A pure Nero D'Avola that enhances the varietal characteristics of the vine, telling the story and tradition of our hills. The grapes are harvested by hand when they reach full ripeness. Fermentation takes place in contact with the skins for two weeks, the subsequent refinement then takes place in stainless steel tanks until bottling. Authentic, distinctive, the Nero d'Avola Principe di Granatey is characterized by enchanting hints of wild berries enriched with notes of … more

A shared quality of many Italian wines is their impeccable ability to be paired with food. This Friulano from family-owned Colutta in the Colli Orientali del Friuli is the perfect example, pop a bottle on your next dinner party table if you don't believe us! It's dry and crisp, though not lacking in flavour of charm. Expect notes of green pears, slightly underripe pineapple, tart fresh lemon juice and a hint if almond kernel bitterness.

Compagnie des Indes rums are produced with great care and elegance. The idea was brought to life in memory of the former East India Company from the seventeenth and eighteenth century that selected rare commodities from distant continents and imported them to their countries. Like them, we select only the best qualities of rum from all over the world and import these to Europe. No matter if we speak about single casks or carefully selected blends - we always focus … more

"(the domaine is the largest holder in Suchots with an incredible 2.16 ha)
Moderate wood sets off an intensely floral and highly-spiced nose that exhibits aromas of dark cherry, cassis, plum and sandalwood. The blatantly powerful, concentrated and once again very serious large-scaled flavors possess volume on the gorgeously long, balanced and focused finish that is both austere and very clearly built-to-age. In a word, excellent." Outstanding, Drink 2031+ - Burgound, Issue #69
