MMAD Vineyard Blewitt Springs Shiraz 2022
Winery Notes "Cooler season with a warm period just before harvest, provided a natural freshness that balances the richness we get from old vine shiraz. We retained more whole bunches in 2022, adding grip, spice and savoury complexity. This wine shows lovely pure violet and blueberry aromas, some earth, dark salted chocolate noes and ripe mouthwatering tannins"

Mongeard-Mugneret Nuits-St-Georges 1er Cru Les Boudots 2017 Jereboam (3Lt)
From the Domaine "Nuits St Georges wines make you long to bite into them. Although their name evokes twilight and nightfall, these premier crus have a fairly vigorous nature, hard while immature, more caressing later on.
Les Boudots wines, rigorous and lively, with a high alcohol content and great finesse, are notable for their soft, perfumed bouquet, reminiscent of blackcurrants and wild blackberries; their bouquet alone makes them easy to distinguish from wines from other vineyard areas.

Monte Antico Sangiovese 2019
An affordable and classic Sangiovese? We'll take two! The Monte Antico hits all the hallmarks, think red currants, tart cherries, wood smoke and dried rosemary. Generosity of fruit upfront makes way for moreish structure and a lip-smacking finish that far outweighs the price.

Monte Ronca 'Colle Marianna' Soave 2023
The inactive volcano Monte Calvarina is home to the vines of this Estate. The high altitude and volcanic soils are the reason Antonio Fattori can make compelx and elegant wines. The use of appassimento (sun drying of grapes) adds further depth of flavour. This is a Soave producer of the highest order. Interestingly, Antonio only uses Garganega in his three wines. However, after tasting his wines it is obvious they don’t need anything extra.

Monte Roncá Valpolicella Ripasso Superiore 2020 375ml
As is often the case with ripasso style wines, this wine is a wonderful mix of bright, fresh aromatics, and dark, savoury intensity. The nose is fragrant, packed with red cherries, dried herbs, and a subtle clove and nutmeg spice. The palate is intense and vibrant, accompanied by persistent acidity and fine tannins.

Monte Ronca Valpolicella Superiore 2020 375ml
A lighter and brighter example of the Valpolicella region, a region often recognised for its sappy, sickly reds, this wine is charming and brings scents of ripe cherries, soft raspberries, fresh tobacco and dried sage. The palate is more moderate than expected too, with refreshing acidity and a well-structured frame of tannins.

Moorooduc Estate Pinot Noir 2021
Bright garnet in colour with a nose redolent of juicy ripe red cherries, violets, earthy complexity and just a hint of licorice and spicy notes of clove and star anise.
On the palate, more cherry fruit, with some savoury undertones and firm, velvety tannins. Juicy fruit balances perfectly with crunchy acid, firm tannins and a long, mouthwatering aftertaste.

Moorooduc Estate The Moorooduc McIntyre Pinot Noir 2021
Number 1 wine from 70 2018 Mornington Peninsula Pinot Noirs tasted. - huonhooke.com.au
"Medium to full red colour with a tinge of purple, and a bouquet that reflects savoury oak-matured nuances and concentrated fruit, the latter more evident on the palate. Intense, piercing and very long, with abundant tannins and upright structure. An impressive Pinot Noir with great power and potential. The tannins are firm and strong, bordering on extreme, but it's a young wine with terrific ageing potential and … more
