So deep it feels like its pulling in the direction of the centre of the earth! Yet, another side of the wine seems to float above the world. Radically mineral finish that leaves you in no doubt about this great dry Riesling's future. From biodynamically grown grapes with Respekt certification. Drinkable now, but best from 2023 - James Suckling
"Deep flinty nose with complex mirabelle, fresh quince and baking spice
notes. Ripe and very focused, medium-bodied with an energy that builds
and builds as it drives its way out towards the distant horizon. Excellent
aging potential. Drinkable now, but best from 2023." 97 points. Stuart

‘Effusive white fruit and mirabelle with some floral notes make this racy, Kabinett-style riesling so juicy and energetic on the palate, with a long, medium-dry, mineral finish. From biodynamically grown grapes. The first vintage of this wine. Drink now. Screw cap.’ 91 points, Stuart Pigott, JamesSuckling.com, July 2021.
Benefiting from de-classification of several of Burklin-Wolf’s most prestigious sites, this is a classic Pfalz Riesling with depth of flavor, aromatic spice and a soft, voluptuous dry finish. Originates from de-classified P.C. vineyards.

They are naturally fermented in the same way as the GGs but stay for 24 months on the full lees in traditional Fuder casks. They are then held in bottle for a further 24 months before release. This extended maturation brings an extra dimension of finesse and balance to our wines. Erdener Prälat is perhaps the greatest vineyard in the Mosel region. It … more

This dry Riesling is a limited-production "great growth" from a parcel of extremely old vines in Erdener Treppchen that lies directly above Erdener Prälat. The fruit comes from vines aged 100+ years, growing on red Devonian slate. Fermented with indigenous yeasts in traditional 1,000-litre Fuder casks; matured on full lees for 12 months.
