Through the elevations of the Rhine Rift around Birkweiler, Albersweiler and Frankweiler geologically really old types of soil came to the top. Ökonomierat Rebholz Ganz Horn Riesling Grosses Gewächs 2018
Through the elevations and depression of the Rhine Rift the structures of soils are really different: from really old and usually deep soils, like Rotliegendes (red Slate), Buntsandstein (colorful sandstone) or Muschelkalk (limestone), up to younger soils like Hangschotter (gravel) or Lo¨ß (loess). Our vineyard side "Im Sonnenschein" has limestone, which developed 220 Million years ago. The chalks are maritime sediments with fossilized slugs and shells. Limestone is the best soil for long lasting, great wines!

Wittmann Aulerde Riesling Grosses Gewäches 2021
"The 2021 vintage has given the bold and generous character of this site a cool herbal element. Next to the ripe mirabelle and melon fruit are notes of licorice and sandalwood. The grapefruit acidity lifts the rather full body very nicely. Quite a firm finish with plenty of fine tannins. From biodynamically grown grapes with Respekt certification. Vegan. Drink or hold." 94 Points. Stuart Pigott, JamesSuckling.com

Weingut Bergdolt-Reif & Nett - Nett Reverse Premium Red - Non Alc - Dornfelder & Cabernet Sauvignon
Winemaker Notes "The Red is an elegant and very dry non-alcoholic the taste is light and fresh and is reminiscent of berries, cherry and is fruity on the mouth with notes of fruit tea and rosehip. It has a little acid and good tannins. It really reminds the drinker of a real red wine feeling and is a blend using Dornfelder and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. It can be served at room temperature or slightly chilled in the summer time."

Wagner Stempel Siefersheim Riesling Porphyr 2020
"Deep and very subtle nose with great wild-flower and herb aromas pulls you into this extraordinarily concentrated and refined dry Riesling for the village-wine category. In spite of the juiciness on the mid-palate, it's only just beginning to open up. Breath-taking finish with enormous mineral freshness! From organically grown grapes. Drink or hold. Screw cap." - 95 points, Stuart Piggott, Jamessuckling.com
