Producer Notes - "Against the light, its intense, subtle perlage, its colour, which becomes bright green, and its compact froth can be appreciated. To the nose, it evokes late spring with its hints of peach and yellow apple while the taste is harmonious, pleasurably savoury and acidulous.
Ideal as an aperitif and excellent throughout the meal. This wine goes particularly well with sea bass and sea bream fillets as … more

Very pale straw yellow with greenish glints, perfect clarity with abundant, persistent, fine perlage. The fresh, elegant bouquet offers flowery sensations merging into a typically fruity harmonious complexity with intense aromas reminiscent of golden apple. Fresh, delicate, balanced on the palate and light in alcohol with a long fruity finish. Perfect as an aperitif, ideal with fish, it goes extremely well starters & light first courses.
Soave, in Italian, means gentle, soft, suave - an appropriate name for this small town east of
Verona, encircled by the original enclosures of the town and dominated by a 13th century fortress.
At the heart of the Classico zone is the Pieropan property, which dates back to 1890. Their Classico is mostly Garganega with about 10-15% Trebbiano di Soave, this is wonderfully aromatic - not a

A lighter and brighter example of the Valpolicella region, a region often recognised for its sappy, sickly reds, this wine is charming and brings scents of ripe cherries, soft raspberries, fresh tobacco and dried sage. The palate is more moderate than expected too, with refreshing acidity and a well-structured frame of tannins.
As is often the case with ripasso style wines, this wine is a wonderful mix of bright, fresh aromatics, and dark, savoury intensity. The nose is fragrant, packed with red cherries, dried herbs, and a subtle clove and nutmeg spice. The palate is intense and vibrant, accompanied by persistent acidity and fine tannins.
Amarone in the product of the ancient wine-making method called "appassimento" (drying of the grapes). At the end of September to the beginning of October, the best clusters of grapes from the hillside vineyards are picked and placed on bamboo racks. The grapes are then left to dry for 48 hours in rooms with controlled atmospheres (controlled humidity and forced ventilation) and then in large rooms in the old farmhouses in the hills until about the middle of January. We've stocked the Kris Pinot Grigio for what feels like eternity, and each vintage it keeps on surprising us by remaining consistently delicious and exceptionally well priced. Coming from the Delle Venezie - the historical name for the three regions of the Venento - it is supremely classic Venetian Pinot Grigio. Crisp and fresh on the nose, with notes of acacia, lemon citrus and fresh green almonds, the palate is refreshing and dry, with a whiff of green pears and … more

The 2017 Amarone is simply stunning with a very complex nose of dark red flowers, soft ripe cherries and spice notes . But its the freshness and precision which sets this apart from other wines, which makes this so complete, elegant and powerful.

The wine has an attractive lemon colour and a bouquet bursting with notes of flowers and crisp fruit. Aromas of hawthorn and jasmine are particularly prominent, as are exotic yellow and white fruits such as peach and apricots. On the palate, the wine is medium bodied and flavoursome, full of fruit, with clear mineral notes. The wine is easy drinking and has an aftertaste of hazelnuts and nutshells.
