Le Battistelle Soave Classico Montesei 2023
This Soave Classico from Le Battistelle is sourced from south-facing vineyards situated on the volcanic slops of the Soave DOC in the Veneto region of north east Italy. Here you’ll find wonderful purity of fruit so typical of the variety with great palate weight and texture as a result of time on lees. As is the motif with Italian wine, this is great with food. Consider salads, seafood and white meat.

Masi Amarone della Valpolicella Classico Costasera DOCG 2017
Amarone in the product of the ancient wine-making method called "appassimento" (drying of the grapes). At the end of September to the beginning of October, the best clusters of grapes from the hillside vineyards are picked and placed on bamboo racks. Monte Ronca 'Colle Marianna' Soave 2023
The inactive volcano Monte Calvarina is home to the vines of this Estate. The high altitude and volcanic soils are the reason Antonio Fattori can make compelx and elegant wines. The use of appassimento (sun drying of grapes) adds further depth of flavour. This is a Soave producer of the highest order. Interestingly, Antonio only uses Garganega in his three wines. As is often the case with ripasso style wines, this wine is a wonderful mix of bright, fresh aromatics, and dark, savoury intensity.
