Macabeo - aka. Viura - is a chameleon of a grape. Not unlike how Chardonnay becomes Champagne, Chablis or Bourgogne, Macabeo can be the basis for a spritzy cava, for a rich, full-bodied white or - as is the case here - a dry, crisp and refreshingly nutty white. Pair with Galician style seafood and enjoy supreme refreshment.

Matured malt whisky and grain whisky are blended and then re-casked (a process known as "marriage") to create a rich harmony of distinctly different whiskies. "From the Barrel" is bottled directly from re-casked barrels of whisky and features almost the same alcohol percentage. At 51.4% alcohol content, this whisky possesses a distinctive personality characterized by solidity, depth of taste and a richly expanding aroma.
'This wine is, unsurprisingly, just right. In fact, I think this is easily the most righteous SR Chardonnay made to date. It's pale green, smells of white stone fruits and gun flint and sea breeze. It is more restrained perhaps, than the traditional stylings of Margaret River but I think it's all the better for its understated awesomeness if you will.
