JJ Prüm Wehlener Sonnenuhr Riesling Kabinett 2022 Magnum
"Here is a great Mosel Kabinett that needs a bit more time to show what it is really made of. Still very young with a pronounced yeasty character that slowly recedes with aeration, but the white peach and honeysuckle aromas that emerge are stunning. Extremely vibrant and precise, the slatey acidity making this fabulously graceful. As pure as an Alpine stream running with glacier water. Drinkable now, but best from 2025." 96 points, Stuart Pigott, jamessuckling.com

JJ Prüm Wehlener Sonnenuhr Riesling Spätlese 2022 Magnum
"The 2022 Riesling Wehlener Sonnenuhr Spätlese #22 was selected in "two to three parcels of old vines," Katharina Prüm explained. The nose still has a touch of yeast, and underneath, it shimmers almost with the crunch of a green but red-cheeked apple. The palate is utterly fine. This seems weightless and light, with the most serene balance of sweetness and freshness, coming across as effortless, unforced, with a subtle savoriness in the distance, waiting to make itself more felt in … more

JJ Prüm Zeltinger Sonnenuhr Spatlese 2022
"The 2022 Riesling Zeltinger Sonnenuhr Spätlese is shy, but stone fruit shimmers through; think white peach and golden Mirabelle. The palate falls into step with citrus-edged, golden Mirabelle plums, fresh, almost sorbet-like in their heightened impression. The beauty here lies in restraint and absolutely harmonious balance. This is not much sweeter than a Kabinett, just a little fuller, rounder, but still svelte, elegant, full in flavor, light on its feet and medium sweet only. Wonderful. Jones Road Pinot Meunier 2020
Plenty of Pinot character but combined with darker fruits and spicy forest berry. The palate is supple, lithe and even with layered tannins holding the typical crunchy red cherry flavour finishing form the fine-grain savory French oak. Terrific balance and resolve with great line and lingering finish.

Joshua Cooper "Balgownie Old Vines" Cabernet Sauvignon 2022
Producer Notes - "Balgownie Vineyard is a name that should need no introduction to lovers of Victorian wine, an icon of the 70's and 80's it has produced some of the most remarkable mature Australian wines I have had the pleasure of drinking. Indeed my cellar is well stocked with them thanks to 10+ years of collecting.
Established 1969 200m asl near the banks of Myers Creek in Maiden Gully on Ordovician shale, quartz and ironstone rubble, thanks to current … more

Joshua Cooper 'Dash Farm' Chardonnay 2023
Best New Winery of the Year
- Halliday Wine Companion Awards 2024
Producer Notes - "Planted 1999 Dash Farms sits perched at over 450m asl on the Southern granitic slopes of Mt Alexander (Leanganook) looking back towards Mt Macedon and the Macedon Ranges. Like Ray-Monde, it sits just outside the Macedon Ranges GI. Ripening for Chardonnay occurs

These lean granite soils and high altitude confer both concentration and freshness at … more

Jules IGP Provence Rose 2023
Pure Provence in style, this is a great all-occasions wine, and a first rate introduction to French rosé. Made and priced to over-deliver. Full in the mouth and with an extra layer of juicy zestiness, classic strawberries and cream with a drop of mandarin juice, and a bittering, complexing finish, akin to the closing bite of a good gin and tonic. An easy wine to love and everything it should be - refreshing, straightforward, delicious and highly moreish!

Jumping Juice Haggis 2023
"Jumping Juice Haggis Wine is symbolic of all those exceptional people that never really found their place, until they found each other. The creatives on the very outskirts of a modern conformist society. Pure and detailed with bright juicy fruit, playful yet deadly serious. Raspberry, lychee, pineapple, with the faintest hint of talc touch." Winemakers' Note

Jumping Juice Pet Nat 2022
Born from disillusionment with the standard of Pet Nats flooding the market, the Jumping Juice Pet Nat was a two year long labour-of-love courtesy of Patrick Sullivan and Xavier Goodridge. Natty-wine scene darlings, these guys have managed to maintain the cool guy label without releasing "funky" (faulty) wines. Their pet nat is a triumph, a citrus pithy, watermelon-fresh fizz bomb made from Vermentino and Nero di Troia sourced from the Riverland, SA.

Juniper Estate Canvas Fiano 2022
Winery Notes - "Pale straw, clear & bright. The bouquet reveals white florals with preserved lemon, honeydew melon & spicy lime notes, finishing with a burst of saline vigour. Expansive lemon curd & citrus flavours are complemented by hints of honey, with savoury salted hazelnut overtones. A pleasing slight chalky dryness provides definition; the finish is crisp & clean."
