Eleven Aperitivo Negroni is crafted from a natural infusion of sweet orange peel and aromatic herbs, including rhubarb, gentian, cinchona, and licorice. The infusion undergoes traditional filtration methods, ensuring a pure and vibrant flavour profile.
Nose: A delicate, fresh, and fruity aroma where the zest of orange peel takes centre stage, complemented by subtle hints of rhubarb and gentian.
Palate: Smooth and mellow with a prominent orange peel flavour. The herbal notes, particularly from the rhubarb, introduce a characteristic bitterness … more

This is named for the Moscato-covered Sant’Antonio hill of Canelli where Lidia, Paolo Berta’s wife, was born. 100% Moscato marcwas distilled in a copper pot steam-draft still. The distillate was housed in various sizes, toast and ages of Troncais oak for 12 months before bottling. An entry style to wood aged, single-variety grappa, this is an elegant and harmonious spirit with gentle aromas and flavours of vanilla, sage and citrus fruit. A pale amber in colour, the grappa is packaged in a … more

"Here too there is just enough wood to remark upon surrounding the well-layered blend of red and blue pinot fruit, earth and a plenitude of spice and floral elements. The wonderfully energetic, sleek and equally muscular larger-scaled flavors also brim with minerality on the refined, focused, balanced and even more persistent finish. This is terrific and a wine that should easily repay two decades of cellaring if you have the patience." 95 points Allen Meadows, Burghound

Burghound, Outstanding - "Note: from Vigne Derrière.
A more elegant if vaguely exotic nose features notes of white peach, spice and lemon confit. The rich and relatively full-bodied flavors display good muscle and power on the stony, chalky and sneaky long finish. Note that this lovely effort is sufficiently tightly wound to require at least 5 years of keeping and should reward up to a decade of it. Drink 2028+"

Burghound - Outstanding - "Note: from Les Boirettes and Champ Jendreau.
Pretty, and distinctly floral-suffused aromas include those of citrus rind and white fleshed fruit. The very rich and generously proportioned middle weight flavors possess plenty of sappy dry extract before terminating in a powerful and borderline tannic bitter lemon-inflected finish. This would also benefit from at least a few years of keeping. Drink 2027+"

Note: the first vintage for this wine was in 1907 and the heart of it is composed by Les Aigrots though there are as many as 16 other 1ers included, that comprise a whopping 26 ha, depending on the vintage.

"Aromas of spiced plum, black cherry and a touch of warm earth are trimmed in admirably subtle wood nuances. The super-sleek, intense and wonderfully energetic medium weight flavors possess fine length on the more overtly structured finale. This is both a bigger and more powerful wine than the Teurons that could use better depth but the given that the aging curve of the '19 Mousse should be extended, more complexity should almost certainly develop in due course." - 90-93 points … more

More subtle though still prominent oak can be found on the much more reserved red currant and dark berry-suffused nose that displays an astonishing array of spice, exotic tea and soft earth aromas. There is better energy as well as more evident minerality on the sleek and sophisticated flavors that deliver superb length and depth on the balanced finale. This is a powerful but classy effort that, very much like the Le Corton, is going to need a long stay … more
