Producers Note - "Formally known as 'Young Vines' Riesling. The fruit for this wine is sourced from a block that was added in 2001 at the western border of the original plantings. While the very top of this block is an ironstone-rich, gravelly ridge, much of the block shows a prevalence towards a rich,
loam dominant soil over limestone footing. These factors coupled with a multitude of influences, micro-climatic and otherwise, yield an expression quite different to our original blocks. … more

"Delicate, redcurrants and mulberry are first and foremost in this wine. Fine and pure, the subtle use of oak presents gently on the palate, with fine, powdery tannins throughout. There are notes of orange and chalky texture evident through the palate. Soft, approachable, natural acidity finishes the wine beautifully, making for delicious drinking." - Belinda Thomson, Vigneron. … more

From a neighbouring vineyard, our favourite Henty winemaker Belinda Thomson has put together this lovely Pinot Gris dominant rosé. Scents of tart cranberry, apple blossom and fresh strawberries dance out of the glass, over a chalky palate that finishes refreshingly lightly.

Adelaide Hills has become the second home of Gruner Veltliner outside of Austria and we're delighted to find more and more local expressions! Soft stone fruit and zesty, crisp minerality makes for a delicious refreshing wine which will pair amazingly with dishes with plenty of lime and coriander.

The Croix de Bezard makes for a sensational thirst quencher as well as the perfect accompaniment with seafood. Grapes are harvested at night at perfect maturity. Pneumatic pressing, selection of free-run juice. A fresh and zesty crisp white wine.
This Shiraz may be the best release to date under this label. A long, mild growing season allowed for greater hang time for the fruit resulting in a wine of incredible depth, spice and structure for a Shiraz of this price. As Luke says, "probably the ripest Crudo Shiraz we've made. We held the fruit on the vine longer than normal as conditions were so ideal."

The result of a selected blend of wines made from Grillo and Catarratto grapes, it has been a jealously guarded secret for years. With a bright color with amber reflections, it has intense and complex aromas of apricot, dates and spices. Full and enveloping on the palate with traces of caramel and bitter almonds, it has a very persistent finish. Aged for a minimum of 20 years in Slavonian oak barrels and French barriques. 18% Alchohol this Marsaala is considered … more
"Our 2022 Estate Pinot Noir consists of eleven separate lots representing distinct aspects, clones and soils. Each of these parcels were handled with attention to vineyard details with the aim of maximising site expression. Indigenous yeasts connect all ferments but varying amounts of whole bunch, post ferment skin contact and individual oak handling were utilised respective to the lot characters themselves. Each of these parcels combine to form our most complex Pinot Noir, with fragrant spices and a red fruit … more

One of three site-specific wines from Corcelette, this cuvée is drawn from old vines on granitic sand soils (sable means sand). The vines were planted in 1926, so it's truly a Vieilles Vignes cuvée. It is the sister wine, if you like, to the Cailloux (rocky) cuvée. Unsurprisingly, Bouland's gnarled old trunks have over-delivered again. Raised in an old foudre, it's a layered, inky, mouthcoating Morgon of wonderful finesse, finishing with intense mineral character and a nip of old vine … more

The lieu-dit Les Délys is part of the Corcelette climat located downslope from Bellevue and right behind Bouland's residence and winery-it's his back garden if you like. Again, Bouland splits his vines into two cuvées: an old-vine cuvée raised in foudre and this younger-vine version raised in concrete. The vines were planted in 1978 and 1980 in the deep granitic sand typical of Les Délys, which brings roundness and Burgundy-like texture to the wines. It's the most detailed and refined … more

A name now synonymous with cru Beaujolais' resurgence into the cool-kid wine scene, Daniel Bouland is remarkably humble. Somewhat reclusive, certainly by the region's standards, he tends to his vines by himself, making brooding, layered expressions of his sites in the Morgon lieux-dits of Corcelette, Bellevue and Delys.
"The 2021 Morgon Corcelette Vieilles Vignes Cailloux opens in the glass with aromas of cherries, mulberries, sweet spices, liquorice and rose petals. Medium to full-bodied, fleshy and layered, it's deep and impressively … more
