Former sommelier Troy Walsh established Attwoods in 2010. He settled in Victoria with his wife Jane, coming home from years of experience in Michelin restaurants in London and then several vintages in Burgundy with traditional biodynamic house Domaine de L'Arlot and Domaine David Duband. His own Attwoods label brings home this strong Burgundian influence to cool-climate Chardonnay and Pinot Noir of Victoria.

400 Conejos Espadin Joven is produced by maestro mezcalero Don Tacho in Santiago Matatlan, Oaxaca. Don Tacho carefully selects the agave Espadin when they have reached maturity after 8-10 years. This mezcal is traditionally produced using a stone oven (horno), horse-drawn tahona, and copper distillation. Mezcal 400 Conejos is named after the ancestral belief that agave spirits were occupied by 400 rabbits. Those who ingested the agave spirits would be controlled by one of the 400 rabbits, but no one … more

Christmann's 2020 Spätburgunder Aus den Lagen opens with a pure, fresh, earthy and spicy/toasty bouquet of dark cherries and black berries. Silky, lush and saline on the palate, this is a pure, very elegant and charmingly fruit Pinot with fine tannins, good salinity and intensity. Diam cork. Tasted at the domaine in November 2022. So deep it feels like its pulling in the direction of the centre of the earth! Yet, another side of the wine seems to float above the world. Radically mineral finish that leaves you in no doubt about this great dry Riesling's future. From biodynamically grown grapes with Respekt certification. Drinkable now, but best from 2023 - James Suckling

"Deep flinty nose with complex mirabelle, fresh quince and baking spice
notes. Ripe and very focused, medium-bodied with an energy that builds
and builds as it drives its way out towards the distant horizon. Excellent
aging potential. Drinkable now, but best from 2023." 97 points. Stuart

The Baxendale Vineyard, situated just north of the Mansfield-Whitfield Road, was planted in 1995 in tertiary volcanic soils over rhyolite at 600 metres above sea level. The block has a consistent northerly aspect.
2021 is easily the best vintage of this wine we have seen. Highly lifted aromas of citrus and white flower are nuanced with secondary characters of wax and flint. The mouthfeel is highly restrained with intense minerality and refreshing acidity gives the wine extreme focus and length.

Made from fruit sourced from the Finca Los Alamos vineyard, upper Uco Valley Tunuyan, Mendoza. A unique soil profile of immense paleo channels - alluvial gravels descend to 10's of metres depth. Water enters the profile during the October/November thaw (ideal for flowering) whilst rainfall is extremely scarce for the rest of the growing season. Berries are small and flavours intense. The site is at 1200 m asl and combined with a continental influence results in great colour and good … more
"Tangy lemon zest, a little salt and floral perfume, lots of talc-like texture, perhaps a little coarse, but such a good delivery of zesty citrus peel and tangy bite, that it's very easy to like. Length is good. All the lime drizzled Riesling flavours here." 93 Points, Gary Walsh, winefront.com.au
