Winemaker Notes "Our first Shiraz under Wind River; this wine is fruit forward and bold. Although they hail from the same vineyard, she is a more conventional expression of variety than her cousin Viceroy Syrah. The fruit is picked at peak ripeness and with gentler acid. The finished wine is slurpy and approachable, a delicious example of cool climate Shiraz. This single-vineyard classic is packed with blue fruit and supple, savoury tannin. It is a proud representation of it Wind River origins, and as a once-off we don’t expect it to last long!"
