We ship anywhere in Australia, only limited by some remote locations that our various freight companies do not service.

Where possible we use specialised wine delivery services to minimise the risk of damage and loss. During the Summer months, we may contact you to delay shipping of your order if we deem it necessary, based on delivery timeframe and location.

RC's Own Local Delivery Service

We offer local delivery service in our van to delivery addresses within a 5km radius. Local Delivery strives to achieve next business day service wherever possible. Occasionally we can offer same day service, however this may not be guaranteed available. 

Please contact the shop directly to discuss same day delivery options if you require it.

Remote Locations

Wine is heavy, and as such a freight cost is unavoidable. We service most of Australia with a flat rate, but some areas may require additional costs. In the rare cases this is necessary, we will contact you to discuss before proceeding with your order.

Delayed or Missing Orders

Our site will give you an estimate of the delivery timeframe at checkout. If your order is reasonably outside of this timeframe, please contact us at shop@rathdownecellars.com.au with your order number and any other pertinent details so we can follow up with our delivery partners. 

Breakages & Insurance

Occasionally an item breaks or goes missing in transit. Shipments delivered personally by us or sent via our preferred shipper (Anonymous Wine Freight) include insurance up to $1000.

Other freight companies do not by default include insurance, but it can be added. Please get in touch with us directly to discuss insurance options if you are concerned.
