[2022] was hot, dry and relatively easy to manage thanks to the conditions that didn't favor disease pressure.the whites were completely crushed before pressing and I did a very low sulfur vinification. I have also decided to fine them as I believe that will help with precision. As to the wines, they're certainly ripe but unlike say 2015, 2018 and 2019, they're fresh and bright with excellent terroir definition. Moreover, they're so well-balanced that they should drink well young but age well too.

A slightly broader ranging nose reflects notes of pear, apple, carnation, mineral reduction and crushed anise. There is slightly better richness, density and volume to the enveloping and caressing yet quite punchy flavors that deliver fine length on the balanced and mildly austere finale that offers just a bit more depth.
