Te Kano Estate is a family-owned winery in Central Otago with four vineyards spanning sites in Bannockburn, Northburn and the nearby Waitaki Valley.
Te Kano means "The Seed" in Maori, a refernce to the families capproach to sustainability and land rejuvenation.
Kin is the entry point for Te Kano, but it is by no means a lesser wine. In fact at the price you'd think it couldn't possibly come from Central, yet it does, and it distinctly shows to depth and savoury spice the region is well know for.
A real bargain.
