Bright crimson in the glass with aromas of macerated satsuma plum, blackberry and blackcurrant pastille. Hints of violets, sage, licorice, bay leaf, roasting meats, panforte, salumi and earth. Full bodied with an elegant line, fine-grained tannins and plenty of drive and a sense of grace as it trails off."
