Winery Notes

A blend of estate-grown, single-vineyard Chardonnay (60%) and Pinot Noir (40%). The fruit comes from a mix of two terroirs: grey gravelly loams over clay and red loam over gravel. At the time of harvest the vineyards were organically managed, in conversion to biodynamic certification. The base wines go through 100% malolactic conversion and the wine is made according to the methode traditionnelle.
This is seamlessly crafted, showing exceptional purity and approachability, with a rich but poised palate singing with white peach and brioche, along with notes of dry hay lingering though the dry finish. It's a wine of tremendous personality and sophistication, demonstrating again that Stefano Lubiana creates some of the most exciting sparkling wines from the southern hemisphere.
