Cellarmaster Caroline Diel has a rich background of winemaking experience with previous stints in some of the world's finest wine estates. Namely Robert Weil, Château Pichon Lalande, Domaine de la Romanée-Conti and Champagne Ruinart. She has led the Diel stable since 2007 and has been on a roll in recent years seeing her named Winemaker of the Year in 2020 by two major domestic publications (Falstaff and Faz).
This traditional method brut sparkling is exemplary Deutscher Sekt. A generous and bold expression of the Pinot varieties (Blanc, Noir and Gris) with a fine, creamy mousse and a yeast driven bouquet of sweet danish pastries, fresh sourdough and wild raspberries. The calibre of this cuvée would rival and surpass many a household Champagne.
