My first release of Gamay! The fruit is sourced from Kangaroo Ground, the winemaking is kept fairly simple. Mostly de-stemmed fruit, made the way we make Pinot Noir. Matured in older 500L barrels.

Made with 50% whole bunches and matured in older puncheons and hogsheads. A vivid crimson purple. A very bright bouquet of red cherry, raspberry, rose and aromatic spices. Medium bodied, this fills out nicely on the mid-palate. I like the al dente tannins giving the wine structure and focus. An utterly delicious wine to drink now and over the next two to three years.
