Bright crimson purple/red. Lovely elegant nose of delicately perfumes violet and dark wildflowers. The fragrance further ‘sweetened’ by the nutmeg spice. The pretty notes are offset by a light meaty complexity. The palate bursts with perfumed purple fruits and florals dusted with sweet spices from both fruit and oak. The super fine tannins are outlasted by lingering spice and perfume. There is a nice freshness despite the warmer vintage. Already great drinking displaying composure and sophistication.
96 Points - Matt Wood, decanter

Lovely freshness and sense of depth to the aromatics, very pure. Gorgeous tannic finesse, great balance and a long, detailed finish. You could drink this young, but the complexity of age is worth waiting for. A blend of the estate’s 12 different parcels, principally on the Blonde side of the appellation; this domaine makes no single-vineyard wines, its other cuvée, Oléa, is a barrel selection. Aged partly in barriques, partly in demi-muids, with around 25% new oak, for up to two years.
