From the Lacey family’s Tatachilla vineyard; mainly in steel, with a small parcel in an old barrel. Vintage '25 was warm - that’s been well reported - and while that means a bit more fruit intensity for fiano, the best examples, such as this, show no lack of vibrancy. Crisp golden apple, Meyer lemon, pomelo, Tahitian lime on a very fragrant, though far from simple, nose. There are subtle hints of spice and a flintiness, and the palate flows with gentle texture, temperate pithiness and resolved yet tangy acidity. Very good indeed.
