Absolutely gorgeous Heathcote Shiraz here, with a pretty spiffy price tag to match. It's a real breath of fresh air amongst the heavy, rustic reds classic to the region - though, that's not to say it's light on its feet. Structured and plump, the wine shows black olive and blood plums upfront, and a lingering cracked earth savouriness on its generous finish.
