Note: the first vintage for this wine was in 1907 and the heart of it is composed by Les Aigrots though there are as many as 16 other 1ers included, that comprise a whopping 26 ha, depending on the vintage.
"Aromas of spiced plum, black cherry and a touch of warm earth are trimmed in admirably subtle wood nuances. The super-sleek, intense and wonderfully energetic medium weight flavors possess fine length on the more overtly structured finale. Guillaume Guiton, after studies in Beaune and an apprenticeship in several wineries in Burgundy and as far away as as Rosemount in Australia, is now in charge of the domaine founded 35 years ago by his father Jean. This is a monopole of the Domaine Tollot-Beaut estate and produces the most structure wine of the two Savigny-lès-Beaune premier cru appellations. It is situated jusb below the Les Lavières vineyard and benefits from a sunnier exposure. With more clay in its soils, the bouquet is ripe with red and black cherry, liquorice and espresso.

Chorey-lès-Beaune is a village in the Côte de Beaune, located just north of Beaune itself.
