A vibrant colour with a touch more than usual due to the sunshine. Lovely florals and lemon grass aromas. Mouth filling flavours of pear and lemon pith balancing the zesty acid backbone. The aromas and fruit weight belie the 10.8% alcohol and reconfirms that the Hunter Valley produces fruit at optimal ripeness at much lower sugar levels. A classic Hunter Valley Semillon to enjoy now or will age gracefully over many years.

Grown on a south facing slope, the fruit is hand picked lightly crushed, and basket pressed. The heaviest solids are briefly settled out by gravity, then the juice transferred to barriques awaiting the start of fermentation. This occurs naturally, when it is ready, and takes as long as it takes.

Best White Wine and Wine of Show - 2024 North East Victorian Wine Challenge.
Grown and tended to in Beechworth by viticulturist Mark Walpole, and crafted by Adrien Rodda, this wine is a brisk and vibrant Verdicchio. It highlights varietals characters of bright, fresh green pear and lime juice like acidity, combined with toasted almond savouriness and a little bit of grip and chew, making it a great wine to pair with food.
