"55/13/10/10/9% Cabernet Sauvignon/Cabernet Franc/Merlot/Petit Verdot/Malbec, all up 23 months in oak with 38% new French barriques. This was tasted less than a month after it was bottled and while it's a very fine Yeringberg with its beauty on show, it's reserved and needs time to adjust and settle. Everything is in sync. Lovely aromas of violets, autumn leaves, mulberries and more. The medium-bodied palate is layered with fine, textural tannins, dazzled with fresh acidity and exceptional length." 97 Points. The 2021 edition of our Bordeaux blend has just about everything in just the right measure - elegance, structure, depth, complexity - and most of all, it’s wine to be enjoyed, today, tomorrow and for as long as you might choose to keep a bottle. On the nose, cool, pure and inviting aromas of blackcurrant, violet, plum and black olive, merge with notes of tobacco leaf, cedar, … more

"A blend of 63/16/10/7/4% cabernet sauvignon/merlot/petit verdot/malbec/cabernet franc. That's two great back-to-back vintages for this Yarra Valley and Australian classic. Bright crimson purple. A wonderful bouquet of perfectly ripened black cherries, blackcurrants, cedar (from the already integrated oak) and lavender. With its core of dark fruits and impeccably balanced, fully ripe yet silky tannins, this complex and harmonious wine is destined to join the ranks of the very best Yeringbergs." 98 points. A blend of 60/40% Marsanne/Roussanne, picked three days apart, fermented together in tank, then aged in old barrels for 10 months. A bright green gold. Aromas of ripe pears and apricots sit alongside some lemon conserve, pink grapefruit and orange blossom scents. It's a compelling mix that flows through onto the palate, which is gently textured, saline, and very well structured. I really like the touch of the grip on the finish too, and as good as this is now, … more

Just the third straight cabernet made, and from grapes planted in '99. A deepish bright crimson purple. A touch more closed than the Yeringberg blend, but still with a lovely core of dark fruits, together with cedar, violets and a hint of iodine on the perfumed and captivating bouquet. The medium-bodied and firmly structured palate is beautifully balanced but with those, firm, fine-grained tannins, this will require some patience to fulfil its potential. 97 points. A combination of natural and inoculated ferments, then racked to 25% new oak with 25% mlf. A bright green gold. Attractive scents of ripe stone fruits, lemon confiture, honey and hazelnuts that are echoed on the flavourful, silky, gently viscous and long palate. At the more hedonistic end of the Yarra chardonnay spectrum and a delicious wine to drink now and over the next three to five years. 93 points. Philip Rich, Wine Companion Aug 2024

"(Marsanne 62%, Roussanne 38%). From vines that are now approaching 50 years of age, our 2021 white blend continues its tradition of being an understated, complex and food-friendly wine. The nose is floral, with notes of jasmine, honeysuckle and orange blossom, while also having a subtle, savoury depth that speaks of pear skin, quince & beeswax. The palate offers more of the same, with a savoury, textured and powerful mouthfeel, that’s also lively and fresh, with a long and moreish … more

"The Pinot has a complexity, poise and depth which drinks effortlessly today and promises a wonderful future. Pure, elegant aromas of raspberry, rose petal and cherry are interlaced with sappy, spicy notes. The palate is similarly bright, savoury and refined, while also offering serious plummy depth, velvety structure, cool spicy volume and a long & evolving finish that slowly unfurls with time in the glass. A serious vintage to enjoy throughout the next decade." - Sandra de Pury

Shiraz 97%, Viognier 3%. The 2019 Shiraz demonstrates again that our part of the Yarra can produce wonderfully spicy, elegant and age-worthy Shiraz. An energetic array of blueberry, white pepper, and bay leaf aromas leap from the glass, followed by Moroccan spice notes, liquorice and dark cherry. The palate has brightness and energy as well as a beguiling subtle, savoury depth. The fruit rides on the back of a powerful yet perfectly pitched tannic framework that provides wonderful drive, and … more

"Our Shiraz (with the usual splash of Viognier) is a wine that continues to demonstrate the affinity of the variety with the Yarra Valley. From the outset, the nose offers a lively, lifted array of aromas - blueberry, violet, black pepper, liquorice and bay leaf. The palate, fresh and energetic, is both perfumed and delicate but then also supple, fleshy and generous. The underlying depth and savoury, structured richness that drives the finish is quietly there now, and over the … more

"We picked the 2021 Viognier over two weeks to balance the freshness and vitality of the earlier pick with the richness and opulence of grapes that have spent longer on the vine. On the nose, rich exotic aromas of apricot, mango and vanilla come together with elegant, lifted notes of honeysuckle, orange blossom and rosewater. The palate continues the theme, marrying depth, volume and richness, with a structure that offers tension, texture and controlled power. Enjoyable now or over the … more

"Barrel fermented and matured for 10 months in large-format oak. A bright green gold. A hedonistic bouquet of ripe nectarines and apricots together with glacé ginger and honey. Textured but not overdone on the palate, which is gently saline and very nicely balanced. It's delicious now, but this has enough of everything to still be looking good three to four years from now too. A truly lovely example." 96 points. Philip Rich, Wine Companion Aug 2024
