On the nose, cool, pure and inviting aromas of blackcurrant, violet, plum and black olive, merge with notes of tobacco leaf, cedar, mint and graphite. The palate, initially fine, savoury and restrained, builds depth and richness, with wonderfully fine but firm tannins, silky, supple generosity, and an understated power and breadth that all comes together on the effortless, but imposing finish.
