In his travels, Evan Milne has worked as a restaurateur, wine rep and importer. It only made sense that he might like to toss his hat in the ring and make some wine, thus Mutual Promise was born. He has sourced some Gamay from the Koombahla vineyard in the King Valley and together with Adrian Rodda and Mark Walpole, produced some excellent wines at unbelievable good value. Gamay is a variety that is only gathering more steam as the years go by in Aus, with producers refining their approach. Evan has opted for a vibrant, fragrant wine that bursts onto the palate with lush red fruit and tart cranberry acidity.
