Muchada-Léclapart is one of the most exciting new projects in Jerez, drawing attention for its focus on biodynamics and a non-fortified wine style. Founded in 2017 by Alejandro Muchada and Champagne's David Léclapart, they started with a small 1.2ha parcel and have grown now to 4ha in total. Lumiere hails from a 1.7 ha parcel in Pago Miraflores called La Platera. It’s a 70 year old vineyard with south-west exposure and aged in neutral oak.
It’s the most powerful and concentrated expression of Palomino in the portfolio.

"Lumière is our luminous light-house : balanced, serene, saline and elegant; the lively subtlety of the Palomino grape. Its grapes come from our best plot: La Platera, located on a gentle hill in the Pago Miraflores, facing west, with calcareous subsoils of mother rock albariza tosca at two meters deep. It stands out for its harmony, sumptuousness in the mouth, floral aroma and gunpowder notes, typical of a large Pago. Wood, soil and fruit are presented harmoniously united." Notes from the Winery
