The 2024 RP1 presents a leaner, more restrained expression of this celebrated white Rhône blend, with citrus characters firmly at the fore. The nose is fragrant and precise, offering lemon zest, white peach, dried apricot and a delicate lift of fennel; aromatics of genuine complexity and regional character. The palate is taut and mineral-driven, with bright acidity providing the structural backbone to flavours of citrus, stone fruit and a distinctive oyster shell salinity that adds intrigue and depth. Woven through the wine is that hallmark textural quality; a subtle, almost tactile richness that has long distinguished the white wines of Mount Mary. Refined, focused and built to evolve gracefully with time in bottle.
