Something of a maiden voyage for the estate, the 2017 M8 was the first vintage to be completely vinified and aged at the new Margherita Otto cellar in Monforte d’Alba. The vintage was a tricky one, starting mild and remaining so until summer when the heat truly set in. Even so, their parcel is nestled high up on the hills of Monforte, protecting them from the worst of it and yielding a dense yet still balanced wine.
