Timorasso is an ancient indigenous grape variety of Piemonte. The vineyards are located in the villages of Montemarzino, Montegioco and Monleale in the appellation of Colli Tortonesi DOC. The grapes undergo destemming and soft-pressing followed by fermentation in temperature-controlled small stainless steel tanks. The wine is left to rest on its noble lees for 7 months and then filtered and bottled. It is bottle-aged 4 months before release. The wine has an incredible structure and longevity, the delicate citrus and floral notes sing in concert leading to a vibrant long finish. It is bright straw-yellow in colour, with a bouquet of fire stone, orange blossom and hazelnut. It is elegant and fresh, with hints of aromatic herbs and white flowers in perfect harmony with good acidity. The finish is clean and persistent.
