Though this isn't the first vintage that old school Barossan producer Kalleske has been making this wine, we are always pleasantly surprised to see it. Not just because one doesn't traditionally associate Barossa with the new-school orange wine craze, but also because far from being a gimmick - it a pretty spectacularly delicious wine. 100% biodynamic single-vineyard Viognier, wild fermented and left on skins for 11 days. It has sumptuous Viognier character, ripe golden peaches, wafts of bush honey, glace ginger and apricot kernel, tempered by delicious phenolic chew from the skins and naturally citrusy acidity.
