The Friulano in this bottling grows on 70-year-old vines, located amongst the rolling hills of Gramogliano. Nestled away by the Slovenian border, this region is the spiritual home of Friulano, and is responsible for some of the very best examples of the grape. I Clivi aims for simplicity in the winemaking, allowing for the purest fruit profile to shine through. Expect aromatic florals, and notes of soft green pears, intermingled with fresh alpine herbs and over top of a sumptuous, slightly glycerol fullness on the palate.
