A family-owned Domaine since 1895, today their vines are tended by the young and talented Lilian Duplessis, who took over from his father Gerard in 1999. Lilian converted their various plots to organic farming and has taken the family label to stratospheric new heights. Gerard Duplessis' village Chablis a blend of four separate 1er cru sites in the Chablis region. Vines range in age from 20 to 60 years, planted atop prized Kimmeridgian soils. Intense and complex, the 2020 Chablis shows a mineral core, wrapped in ripe citrus notes and fresh stem ginger spice.
