This bottling is a marriage of one 2015 American oak hogshead, two 2012 ex-oloroso sherry butts and one 2013 ex-oloroso sherry butt, all from the Caol Ila distillery. This limited edition whisky benefits from its sherry butt components which contribute plenty of fruit and richness.

Spirits from 2012, 2013 and 2015, aged in Ex-Olorosso sherry butts and an American oak hogshead respectively.
Tasting Notes:
Nose: Coastal smoke appears, layered with smoked mackerel and fruit chutney. Pleasant savoury notes intertwine with caramel
Palate: Even sweeter and richer than on the nose: layers of dried fruit, raspberry coulis and cherries. Orange rind combines with gentle smoke and spice.
Finish: Balanced and lasting with dark chocolate, bonfire embers and pomegranate seeds.
