Domaine Servin has one of the best value Montee de Tonnerre's of all producers. The vines here are almost 60 years old in some parts, with the youngest in their mid-30s.

Burghound said "export manager Mark Cameron, take on 2019 was "more one of surprise that such a hot and dry vintage could have given us such fresh and relatively classically styled wines. Yes, they are ripe and yes, they do have somewhat elevated alcohol levels and yes, they are concentrated as yields were much lower than in 2018 but despite all of those aspects, the wines are clearly Chablis. I am really enthusiastic about them and I think our clients will love them as well, if for no other reason than there is nothing to dislike." I too left the tasting feel quite enthusiastic about the Servin 2019s and overall, I would observe that it is one of the best vintages I've seen here when considered from the top to the bottom of the range. "

"A discreet but perceptible dose of wood can be found on the cool floral, pear confit, tidal pool and iodine-scented nose. The refined, intense and wonderfully sleek medium weight flavors flash a bracing salinity on the classy, balanced and wonderfully persistent finale. This chiseled effort is a relatively powerful MdT and like several wines in the range, possesses a genuinely lovely texture. Recommended." - Sweet Spot Outstanding, Burghound
