Bertrand Chevillon, who is normally pretty restrained, did not equivocate in calling 2020 a "superb vintage though another one that was hot, dry and early. [...] A vague touch of wood is present on the ripe and exuberantly fresh aromas of poached plum, dark currant and anise. The sleeker and more mineral-driven medium weight flavors possess a lovely sense of underlying tension, all wrapped in a compact, firm and built-to-age finale. This is also excellent and stylistically, it is a mix of Nuits and Vosne.
