[...] Here a more restrained nose is aromatically similar to the Chaignots if not quite as spicy. There is more power and punch to the intensely saline-suffused middleweight flavors that also conclude in a moderately austere bitter pit fruit-inflected finish. Bousselots always requires at least mid-term cellaring to show its best and the 2021 version will be no exception. Recommended.
