Outstanding - Allen Meadows, Burghound

Bertrand Chevillon, who is normally pretty restrained, did not equivocate in calling 2020 a "superb vintage though another one that was hot, dry and early. [...] Here the less expressive nose is not as spicy but actually more complex with its array of poached plum, black raspberry, smoke, earth and underbrush. The delicious, vibrant and beautifully delineated medium-bodied flavors that are shaped by bright acidity on the firm, serious and youthfully austere finish that is even firmer. This is a classic Bousselots that will require extended patience.
