From the old 'Virgin Hills' site, planted in 1968 by Tom Lazar, we welcome to the shelf Domaine Razal. The new wines are looking stellar across the board, but the Chardonnay really stood out to us as exceptional value. Rich yet fresh, full yet bright, oaked yet not to hefty. A great value winter chardonnay.

"From vines planted around 1995 (P58 clone), this Chardonnay follows the considered, site-led
approach. Whole bunch pressed to tank then racked to 100% neutral French oak. Barrels were stirred monthly during élevage, with a minimal sulphur addition made in late spring following completion of malolactic fermentation. Spending a total of 14 months on lees before being bottled unfiltered in August 2025. Alc. 13%" - Winery Notes
