Facing east on a gentle clay-limestone soil slope, the vineyard has perfect conditions for the Chardonnay grape variety to grow. Concentrated and pure, this Premier Cru combines great aromatic complexity and refined style. The palate is well-rounded with notes of ripe yellow fruits. It has a tonic finish, with hints of spice."

The sublime mouthfeel of the middleweight flavors is even finer if not quite as mineral-driven while delivering outstanding depth and persistence on the highly seductive, beautifully delineated finish. This more powerful than usual and it would be fair to describe it as powerful yet refined. Excellent."
