Louis Boillot Vieilles Vignes Moulin a Vent is made from the grapes of vines that are 50-60 year old vines. The fruit is a blend of four parcels from sites close together. On the nose it has impressive weight and structure more in the style of a red Burgundy. The palate is dense, pure and palate coating with nuances of raspberries and red cherries. It has great volume and tannic structure, as is often the case with Moulin-a-Vent.
