It's of the greatest terroirs of the Côte de Nuits on a fault overlooking the Clos de Vougeot and adjoining the Combe d'Orveau. Vatting at controlled temperature lasted 19 days and the wine was plunged twice a day during the active phase of alcoholic fermentation. Aged in oak barrels for 21 months.
