This wine has been underpriced for some time when compared with many Pinots from outside of Burgundy.
The fruit for this wine comes from the plateau at Daix, near Marsannay. The vines here sit at 400 metres bringing freshness and purity and yet the low yields bring remarkable depth and age-worthiness for a wine of this appellation. This is simply a benchmark Pinot Noir.
