From the cool slopes of Chautagne in the Savoie, we have a lovely little alpine Gamay for you all to enjoy. Unlike it's southern counterparts in Beaujolais, the Gamay from Savoie is breathy, perfumed and aromatic. Often tannins are fine and lacy, leaving a cooling sensation on the palate that reminds us of breathing mist on a snow slope. Succulent red fruits fill the mid-palate, making for a very easy drink indeed.
