While we're still longing for the era of affordable of Sancerre, this wine from Bonnigal-Bodet just about fills the gap. It's saline and a little flinty, with bright lemon-verbena and citrus notes that reminds us thoroughly of our favourite Sancerre of yesteryear - including the pricetag!
