Castro Ventosa takes its name from the Roman-era hilltop fortification, the "Castle of the Winds". It looks down over the village of Valtuille de Abajo, and the Pérez family has owned and farmed
vineyards around that ruin since 1752. This is classic Joven Mencia as it’s often referred, fresh, bright and energetic, all with the serious edge of old vine sites used to craft it. Fantastic.
