Benanti's Rinazzo Vineyard sits at 800m above sea level on the eastern slopes of Mount Etna. Made from 100% Caricante grapes the wine is fermented in stainless steel with a Pied de Cuve - cultivated indigenous yeasts - from the vineyard to bring out maximum terroir. Aged for 12 months in stainless steel with frequent lees stirring to build texture. The wine is rich yet minerality-driven. Floral citrus notes of yuzu rind interplay with salinity and sumptuous texture, like a perfect lemon tart on an almond meal base.
