This wine is made from fruit grown by Larry and Angela at Cobbobonnee vineyard, west of Heywood in GI Henty, Victoria. 2022 was a cool year, with plenty of hen and chicken in the Pinot Gris creating loads of small berries in the bunches, which meant very good flavour. The fruit was destemmed and spent 2 days on skins prior to natural ferment starting. It then had 4 days of fermentation on skins prior to pressing. Fermentation was completed in 50% stainless and 50% used oak, with each portion spending about 3 weeks on lees.
